Credentialing

Med Bill Corp offers years of experience in facility and physician credentialing for a variety of specialty types. These services are structured to suit your organization’s needs with many accredited programs including: NCQA, JCAHO, URAC, DHS, etc.

Our specialized staff is available to assist with standard credentialing processes for several insurance carriers including: Medicare, all State Medicaid programs, any Managed Care programs and countless Third Party Payers. Limited facility and physician credentialing services are also available to support with overflow or operate as a reliable replacement for the in-house resources traditionally allocated to the credentialing process. All services are guaranteed to meet or exceed current industry standards.

Between the preliminary credentialing stage and the re-credentialing stage, Med Bill Corp will monitor sanctions by State License Boards, Federal Certification(s) Boards, Medicare and State Medicaid(s).  Any injunction will be reported to your organization within 15 business days. Furthermore, our specialist(s) will report any and all disciplinary actions taken against your associated provider(s), upon discovery or notification of such actions, as permitted by law.

Our services will incorporate time-sensitive credentials that require monitoring and/or updating on a consistent basis. All organizations are notified prior to the expiration or termination of enrollment and document(s) which are required by hospital stipulations and/or State regulations.

Contract Rate Negotiating

Med Bill Corp will review your contract and work with the insurance carriers to customize a contract to fit your specialty: look at code coverage: rate reimbursements in comparison to Medicare and Blue Shield: recommend changes for your review, and work with the carrier on your behalf.

Physicians should have a solid understanding of what an individual contract means to their practice in terms of revenue and expenses.  Even if a contract is presented as non-negotiable, that does not prevent the physician from attempting to negotiate objectionable provisions.  Provisions in a contract that are glossed over or even ignored can spring to life in new and often unpredictable ways when a controversy arises that requires interpretation or clarification.

Electronic Claims/ Payment Processing

Med Bill Corp electronically bills all insurance groups that accept electronic claims. While other billing companies utilize software programs that submit their claims thru a clearing house to be passed onto insurance carriers, Med Bill Corp submits all claims directly. By eliminating the “middle man”, Med Bill Corp can convert your claims into cash faster than our competition.
We also have a payment entry unit with staff assigned to specific clients.  They become familiar with your banking methods and are able to resolve all lock box issues.  Payments are posted within 24 hours of receiving the information from the bank.
