Who we are...

For more than twenty years, Med Bill Corp (MBC) has provided billing services for emergency physicians.  We are a Michigan-based corporation with clients located in many states, ranging from North Carolina to South Dakota, Michigan and Indiana.  We provide an experienced staff of service representatives who make "house calls" on a regular basis to resolve issues.  This insures that our clients are involved in their billing.

What we do...

We specialize in emergency physician billing.  We do not bill for other physician specialties.  We provide comprehensive services including:

• Electronic registry transfer process • Electronic import of the medical record • Provider Enrollment • Third party contract issues • Medical coding • Electronic billing • Knowledge of enrollment process including   Medicaid enrollment for 31 states

• Missed/unbilled services • Claims resolution • Lock box and bank issues • Direct telephone access for patient calls • Medical coding audit process • Comprehensive monthly reports • Credit card payment acceptance

MBC hires only skilled medical professionals.  Medical coders must be certified with the American Academy of Professional coders (AAPC).  For new hires, we also provide schooling in the certified coder apprenticeship program.

How we do it...

MBC has committed to using computer technology to the fullest extent possible for special needs.  This includes compliance with HIPAA version 4010 standards and privacy compliance.  Our system includes SSL (secure socket licensing) encryption certification through Verisign.  We are able to transfer medical files from hospitals and claims files to third party payors electronically without breaking privacy regulations.
