Who we are...

Since 1996, Med Bill Corp (MBC) has successfully administered the Medicaid Administrative Outreach Claiming (MAOC) program for schools both large and small.  We are a Michigan-based corporation with clients located in states ranging from Michigan to Texas. We have assisted schools in realizing millions of dollars annually through this Federal program.

What we do...

The MAOC program enables schools to obtain funding from outreach activities that are currently being performed in your school district.  These activities are directed towards "at risk" children and include efforts directed at locating, identifying and assisting families in accessing Medicaid services.  The program is a complement to the school-based health services program and is a source of revenue that all schools can utilize.  Outreach claims are based on three factors:

• "Random Moment" or Quarterly time study
• Medicaid eligibility rate
• Analysis of the school's financial records

The majority of the claim development is handled by MBC staff who direct training programs, process the financial figures, and develop the proper claim.  By joining a consortium of schools, individual school districts ensure that all districts can benefit from this revenue source, regardless of size or geographic location.

How we do it...

MBC has committed to using computer technology to the fullest extent possible for special needs.  This includes compliance with HIPAA version 4010 standards and privacy compliance.  Our system includes SSL (secure sockets layering) encryption certification through Verisign.   We are able to process confidential Medicaid data electronically without breaking privacy regulations.
